Giles has been another name who has risen considerably this spring. The tools continue to tick up as he adds strength and muscle to his 6 foot frame.
Giles has a twitchy left-handed stroke with significant bat speed. He's quick through the zone and direct to the baseball, with little extra movement in his hands. Giles has an advanced approach at the plate with good strike zone judgment. Whiffs have been an issue at times in the past, though Giles has looked much stronger in that department this spring. Giles is an above-average runner. An Oregon commit, he'll be 18.5 on draft day.
