Brown is a long, lean 6-foot-5 left-handed hitter with big time bat speed and what presently already looks like plus raw power. There's some swing-and-miss questions here, as well as a frequency to expand the zone and chase off the plate against breaking balls. Brown will need to further prove to scouts and analyst that it's better than fringe-average hit tool projection, and he's struggled to hit for much of an average when facing SEC competition so far. Still, there's no denying the power ceiling here, and as it stands Brown's contact rates inside the strike zone are closer to average.
Brown saw limited pitching action in 2026, however he's been up to 98 mph from the left side with a decent slider. He underwent internal brace surgery, and will likely miss most of the 2027 season. Regardless, most view Brown's future at this stage in an outfield spot, where he unsurprisingly has plus arm strength. Brown has shown flashes of what the final tool package could end up becoming in Knoxville, and he's firmly a top-3 round follow for the 2027 MLB Draft.
