Bryant is everything that scouts look for in a projectable right handed pitching prospect. It's a high wasted 6 foot 5 frame with tons of physical projection left to dream on. Bryant is a free and easy mover down the mound with a quick arm and an athletic lower half. While it's average extension, it's easy to dream on Bryant being a guy who sees his velocity jump up into the mid to high 90's in due time.
Bryant's fastball will sit in the low 90's and has been up to 95 at times with running life in on the hands of right handed hitters. It's easy to see a world where this pitch jumps another grade between now and draft day. Bryant's best pitch is a low 80's sweeping slider that flashes big shape that he has great feel to land to both right and left handed hitters. While he can drop his arm slot slightly, it flashes plus shape at times and above average spin rates. Bryant also shows off a depthy mid 80's changeup with tumble that's shown to be extremely effective against left handed hitters when he throws it down in the zone. It's another pitch that could jump a grade come the spring.
Bryant's outings where boom or bust towards the back end of the summer, he'd have some outings where the fastball would get mixed results, and the command was sparatic at times. That being said, when his stuff has been on, it's a scary sight to see, potentially an arsenal with a plus secondary and multiple above average offerings. With a strong spring, Bryant could hear his same called on day one.
