A famous name in the amateur space dating back to his travel ball days, Arrambide has slowly seen his role increase over the years at Baton Rouge. He returns in 2027 as one of the top bats in the SEC, a sure-fire bet to hit towards the middle of a loaded LSU order.
Arrambide has a physical presence in the box with tons of bat speed and feel for barrel that shows up in his underlying data. He's got a chance to grow into above-average to plus power, but that does come with it's fair share of swing-and-miss and strikeout concerns. Arrambide historically has owned a contact rate hovering around 70% throughout his college career, as well as a near 30% strikeout rate. He'll have to show strides forward in that regard, but even still he profiles well as a power backstop.
Arrambide is relatively unpolished behind the plate as it stands right now. He lacks much lateral mobility, and his framing metrics are below average. He'll require some seasoning at the next level, but what he does have is a plus arm out of the crouch. There's a way to a top-50 selection here, potentially along the same path as Ryder Helfrick from the 2026 Draft.
