Clark's fastball has a chance to be one of the more outlier pitches in this class. Launched from a 5.4 foot release height, it's a pitch with upwards of 20+ inches of induced vertical break. The pitch has an ultra-flat vertical approach angle at the top of the zone, up to 97 mph. It looks every bit like a future plus or better heater, Clark throws it for strikes and gets buckets of whiffs.
Clark's best secondary is a changeup with good vertical separation off the fastball that he sells with good arm speed in the mid-80s. He'll also flash a tighter slider that holds through the zone with some lift, as well as a bigger curveball as the main breaking ball package. Clark pounds the strike zone and induces a ton of chase with his entire arsenal. It's starting pitching traits at the next level, despite Clark having thrown most of his games in college out of the bullpen.
