Fralick is a strong, big-bodied back-stop with a well-rounded offensive profile. It's a hit tool that has stood the test of SEC competition well at Auburn. Fralick sets up from the left side in a slightly open stance with a higher hand set. It's a remarkably controlled leg kick with balance Fralick demonstrates well throughout his swing. Fralick features above-average bat-to-ball skills with feel for the barrel. His pitch selection skills are impressive as well, he swings at the right pitches, with an expected walk rate that is far better than what he has flashed so far throughout his 2 years at Auburn.
Fralick has started to grow into more raw power and bat speed as he's stepped on campus, with above-average power upside should he learn to use the pull side to a greater extent. Fralick has strong wrists with real bat speed he'll flash when turning tight on a pitch on the inner half. It's a fun offensive profile.
While Fralick's defensive home remains something of a question mark at the next level, his work behind the plate has improved year-over-year. His framing metrics are a tad underwhelming, and he'll likely face questions on his athleticism, but the improvements he's flashed are promising, especially considering he has enough raw arm strength for the position. The worst case scenario here is that he'll have to move off to a corner infield spot, likely first base.
