Chase Fuller has tools for days. The son of former NFL player Corey Fuller, Chase owns some of the best raw power and bat speed in the 2027 class with potential for 30+ homers at the next level should the hit tool stand the test of time. A physical presence in the box, Fuller rotates violently behind his lead leg with a remarkably quick barrel through the zone. It's tantalizing power upside.
Fuller is an aggressive hitter who will chase below the zone and at times lunge onto his front side. He may be further exposed by breaking balls at the next level. There hasn't been an alarming amount of swing-and-miss so far, though given the type of player he is that will be something teams will be closely evaluating leading up to draft day.
Fuller is a remarkable athlete despite his physical frame who will routinely turn in plus run times from home-to-first and in workout settings. He's played plenty of shortstop up to this point in time, though given the present actions and probability that he'll continue to add on physicality to his already built 6-foot-3 frame, third base may end up the long-term fit. Fuller also pitches and has been up to 99 mph off the mound with a solid breaking-ball, though most expect him to hit full time at the next level. It's at least plus arm strength across the diamond.
