Brasch is one of the more interesting and unique arms the 2026 class has to offer. Brasch is up to 99 mph with his fastball, living in the 94-96 range. The pitch comes from an ultra-tall arm-slot with both carry and cutting action, making it one of the elite cut-ride shapes in college baseball. While the pitch has missed less bats than the velocity and shape suggest, it's still got plus upside.
Brasch's best secondary is a slider with tight shape, some serious depth and tumble coming off the fastball tunnel. A bigger, yet less consistent, curveball will work it's way into his mix, as well as a changeup that he can struggle to locate at times, but kills spin on well with good vertical seperation off the fastball. Brasch will be 22 years old on draft day, but will still grade out well on models due to his unique release traits, stuff, and solid-average command.
