Goff has a pretty left-handed swing with natural loft, good balance and a heavy barrel through the zone. There's a barrel tip here, but it's worth keeping in mind that's a move that plenty of good hitters share.
Goff can flash some swing-and-miss, and show a tendency to be remarkably aggressive, especially early in counts. It's an offensive profile that will need some polishing around the edges at the next level, but there's no denying some of the projectable traits he brings to the table.
An average runner, Goff is likely destined for a corner outfield spot at the next level. He may have a chance to grow into a better run tool as he tacks on more muscle.
