Park transferred to LSU from Texas State following a breakout sophomore campaign with the Wildcats. He's an ultra-athletic, lean 5-foot-11 shortstop with all the tools to stick at the position long-term. Park is twitchy and explosive, with dynamic range to both his left and right and a cannon of an arm across the infield, easily plus at this stage.
Park has good bat speed in the box with solid feel for leveraging the baseball and getting to his pull-side. It looks like above-average raw power projection as it stands now, and even with what is presently a smaller frame, Park has a chance to hit 20+ homeruns at the next level. There are some strikeout concerns here that Park will try to dispel against SEC arms. He lacks much adjustability in the box, and can struggle against breaking balls. He's still historically been a guy who makes enough contact inside the strike zone to produce, but scouts will want to see the strikeout rate trend down as we approach July.
