Deven Sheerin

Sheerin missed the 2025 season due to an ACL injury. Back on the mound in 2026, he's looked like one of the top relief prospects in this draft class.

Sheerin has a thick, physical 6 foot 5 frame and has been up to 99 mph with his fastball. The pitch has life and carry at the top of zone, and he throws it from a funky, cross-body angle which allows the offering to play up. Sheerin's best secondary is sharp, tight upper-80s slider that plays well off the heater and could be a plus pitch. He's also mixed in a changeup and a curveball, though he sticks to two pitches on most nights. Sheerin has the stuff to be a quick mover and provide value to the back of a bullpen.
