Hawk is a towering 6-foot-3 with a long, projectable frame and broad amazon box shoulders. He works down the hill well with above-average extension on all his offerings. It's a clean arm path, with enough strikes to suggest he may be able to start at the next level despite not doing so yet in college.
Hawk has been into the upper-90s at times with above-average ride and some tailing life. His best secondary is a short, tight slider with bullet shape, potentially a future plus pitch. It's average spin capacity. Hawk can also flash a bigger low-80s curveball that he doesn't throw as much, and a depthy changeup he kills spin on well.
