A reclass from the 2027 class, Galason had a strong summer circuit, launching himself towards the top end of the 2026 class.
An athletically built 5-11, Galason has a real hitterish look at the plate. It's an upright stance from the right side, a high leg kick and forward drift before Galason gets his foot down and rotates hard into his front side. There's very little movement in the hands. Galason boasts healthy bat-to-ball skills, an emphasis on spraying the ball all over the field, strikeouts coming very rarely. Galason dosen't possess tons of raw power, fringy at this stage, and he's still learning how to lift the ball to his pullside with more efficiency.
Galason is a plus runner, bordering on 70 grade run times. He's also an elite athletic tester, meaning there's some bat speed left to be unlocked here. Galason has solid range at shortstop and twitchy actions. He likely projects to slot in at second base as a professional, though he can play outfield in a pinch. Galason will be just 18.1 years old on draft day, appealing to models as well. It's a very intruiging total package.
