The premier Ivy League prospect for the 2027 MLB Draft, Ohman has been a famous name inside the world of college baseball dating back to his freshman year.
Ohman looks like the slightly undersized flamethrowers of recent draft classes with tree trunks for legs, potentially more on the way to fill out his 6-foot, 185 pound frame. The arm speed here stands out, Ohman is a powerful, explosive mover with big time athleticism down the hill.
Ohman will touch 97 mph with a fastball that features above-average ride and some slight tailing action. He'll sit in the mid-90s. Ohman's main secondary is an upper-80s gyro slider that can at times blend into a tighter cutter. There's a bigger curveball here with two-plane break and bite. Ohman will also mix in a mid-80s changeup with some fade primarily against left-handed hitters. Ohman's strike-throwing did back-up in 2026, but you can still feel comfortable calling it average command at this stage. Given the weaker nature of his competition, teams are going to want to see Ohman dominate the opposition in 2027.
