Barberi is built the right way, with broad shoulders and a high waste, standing at 6-foot-4. He's got projection left in his frame, with a power arsenal that stacks up against any arm in college baseball.
Barberi has already touched triple digits multiple times throughout his first two years at Gainesville. His fastball features both arm-side tail and above-average carry, a pitch that looks like a potential future 70-grade pitch. Barberi is a fringe-average extender down the mound with a relatively generic release height.
The slider is the best secondary here, with short, powerful bite in the mid-80s. The pitch can at times blend into more of a cutter, with firmer break. It's a plus breaking ball. Barberi can also throw a solid fading changeup, though he'll go some outings without using the offering much if at all.
Barberi has seen a large portion of his time at Florida out of the bullpen, though he may get a chance to finally prove his worth in a starting rotation in 2026. It looks like solid-average command.
