Seamon ultimately has one of the higher upsides out of any bat in the 2027 prep class. It's a profile with plenty of risk, but also one littered with tools.
Seamon is a towering 6-foot-5 with tons of projection left in his long, slender frame. He's a gazelle who can post 70-grade run times when underway, covering tons of ground with his lengthy strides and gliding around the bases. Seamon is simply an elite athlete for a player of his size and length.
The offensive profile can be a bit polarizing at times. Seamon has monster power projection and is already flashing raw power that suggests he may be able to run into 30+ home runs at the peaks of his career. It's premium bat speed and feel for leveraging the baseball, along with plenty more that's left in the tank. The slugging upside comes with some hit tool questions, however. Seamon has delt with plenty of swing-and-miss throughout his time on the summer circuit with his fair share of strikeouts. Similar to most with longer levers, this will likely be a question Seamon faces for most of his career, one that will be put under a microscope the closer we get to July of 2027.
Seamon has tools to play center field at the next level assuming he doesn't outgrow his frame. He's athletic enough to where he's even seen some time playing shortstop for his high school team. Seamon will be just 17.9 on draft day.
