Advincula will be transferring to Georgia Tech for the 2026 season, where he'll look to add a top of the order presence to one of the better lineups in the ACC.
Advincula can really, really hit. It's plus bat to ball skills from the left side with the ability to hit just about every pitch. Advincula posted a whiff rate of just 13% throughout the 2025 year, striking out only 11% of the time. It's a relatively aggressive approach, as Advincula will chase a strong amount, diminishing his contact quality, but the bat to ball skills here are undeniably elite. The impact hasn't shown through so far, as it's a relatively slappy swing. There's bat speed here that suggests more is on the way, and being at Georgia Tech, Advincula's power numbers should take a jump. He's posted strong numbers with wood bats in the cape cod league, few questioning if his game will transfer over once he makes the swtich from metal.
Advincula is a plus runner with base stealing skills. He's played exclusively at second base so far, where he projects to be a solid defender in the future. Should the production transfer over to the ACC, Advincula has a day one ceiling.
