Tiroly will be transferring to the University of Virginia following a dynamite season at Rider University where he finished hitting .377 with a 1.230 OPS and 18 homeruns. The production throughout his first two collegiate seasons has been exceptional, though now it's time to see if it will all translate against some of the best pitching college baseball has to offer.
Tiroly dosen't offer much projection at 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, that being said he can absolutely mash baseballs. He's peaked with exit velocities north of 110 mph, while posting both exceptional average and 90th percentile marks. He knows how to lift the ball in the air aswell, making for above average power projection. Despite a noisy and unorthodox load, Tiroly can really hit. He's patient at the plate and posts low chase rates, all while maintaining low whiff rates aswell. This is a pretty complete offensive profile, though it remains to be seen how Tiroly handles higher quality pitching, considering he hasn't been exposed to much.
Tiroly isn't the most athletic defender, though he's servicable at second base. He does run the risk of being moved of to first base if the frame continues to fill.
