Hucko is regarded as one of the better athletes in the 2027 class with 70-grade run times and elite athletic testing numbers. He features a beautiful, quick left-handed swing with good bat speed and a flatter attack angle through the zone. Hucko hasn't prioritized backspinning the baseball much, but he has flashed exit velocities north of 106 mph in game settings, and may have enough in the tank to get to above-average power. Hucko can flash some swing-and-miss, particularly when attempting to be aggressive early in counts. His bat-to-ball skills, however, have continued to trend in the right direction.
Hucko has traits that point to a long-term home in center field at the next level. He's equipped with above-average arm strength. The athletic tool package and offensive ceiling here could warrant a top-2 round selection.
