Mora was relatively unknown early on in his high school years, but has steadily ascended up rankings as he's continued to blossom as a ballplayer.
Mora is a 70-grade runner who can turn on a different gear when running down the line. He takes wide, aggressive turns rounding first base, looking to turn singles into doubles and take the extra bag. At the plate, Mora sets up from a wide stance squatting deep into his legs. He doesn't move his hands much at all throughout his load, sacrificing some bat speed for the ability to make late decisions in the box. Most of Mora's power comes from his hips, and while it has improved year over year, it still likely won't be more than 40-grade raw power at the next level. That's pretty fine given Mora's toolset, he's a top-of-the-order pest who looks to slap baseballs, get on base, and provide value with his legs.
The tools in the outfield are exciting, Mora has a chance to play centerfield for a long time. He saw some run both at both second base and behind the plate this spring but It's hard to see a world where he plays either of those positions at the next level. Mora covers tons of ground in the outfield and features plus arm strength with plenty of carry on his throws. Mora is committed to the University of Miami and is rumored to be a tough sign away from school.
