Lewis transfered from Butler to Wake Forest following a breakout freshman year campaign, and only seemed to get better. He finished 2025 hitting .376 with 11 homeruns and a 1.084 OPS.
Lewis can flat out bang, and that's obvious when watching him in the box. It seems like he's almost always on time for anything thrown towards the top of the zone, and he's consistently done damage to fastballs at a remarkable rate. That being said, he can at times get in trouble with breaking balls thrown towards the bottom of the zone. Lewis makes contact a decent amount, telling by his 21.7 percent whiff rate in 2025, and he's mantained healthy chase rates while electing to stay extremely patient at the plate. There is some raw power here, that's clear, though Lewis's swing can get slappy, and he generally struggles with lifting the ball to his pullside with frequency. There's still reason to think Lewis could end up growing into above average power further down the road as these issues iron themselves out.
Lewis played mostly third base this past year for Wake Forest, though he's a below average defender, likely a first baseman at the next level. He's a fringe-average runner with fringe-average arm strength. Lewis has the track record and offensive upside to garner early round interest, and he returns in 2026 as one of the top bats in all the ACC.
