Luker is a lean, athletic 6-foot-2 left-handed pitcher with a game that has skyrocketed over the past 12 months. Formally a guy who would tickle the low-90s, Luker is now up to 95 mph with a fastball that generates tons of whiffs at the top rail. Luker throws it from a low release height with a flat vertical approach angle, there's also plenty of horizontal life to the offering. Along with the deceptive nature of his release, Luker is a clean mover with above-average extension out in front. The fastball projects as above-average right now, and could take a step up to plus as he continues to add velocity.
Luker has a solid two-plane upper-70s breaking ball that he'll mix into his arsenal. There's also a mid-80s changeup that he'll turn to primarily against right-handed hitters that can flash above-average with big depth and fade. It's an east to west arsenal, and the strikes have looked steady up to this point in time. Luker has true top-2 round potential for the 2027 MLB Draft.
