Leo Nockley

Nockley is a twitchy middle-infield prospect with pound-for-pound some of the best raw power in the 2027 high school class. Despite being just 5-foot-8, 165 pounds, the bat speed here is eye-opening. Nockley's exit velocities consistently eclipse 100 mph, and there's feel for lifting the baseball here too. The swing here aesthetically checks a lot of boxes. It's a short, loose, fluid left-handed swing. Nockley rotates quickly with his lower half and squares up the baseball out in front. It's an aggressive approach at times and a hit tool that may be poked at a little as teams try to evaluate the bat. For now though, the package is incredibly intriguing.

Nockley is an instinctual shortstop with above-average arm strength who may end up at any of the 3 infield positions at the next level, with second base as the most likely outcome. He's an above-average runner who takes aggressive turns on the bases.
