Ryan is a well-rounded shortstop with an offensive profile that will appeal to models. He makes a ton of contact inside the strike zone with a quick, balanced right-handed swing. It's slightly above-average raw power for the time being, and Ryan's feel for lifting and pulling the baseball in the air is probably one of the more impressive parts of his game, a large majority of his his batted balls tend to be to left field. Ryan does have reverse splits, as he did hit worse against left-handed pitching as a sophomore. Your dreaming an above-average hit tool with solid-average power projection here.
Ryan is a solid defensive shortstop with the chops to be an above-average glove at the position. He looks like a guy with a high chance of sticking up the middle at the next level. Ryan is also a plus runner.
