Savoie is strong, barrel-chested catching prospect with some of the loudest raw power in the 2027 college class. He transferred from LMU to Clemson following a breakout freshman year where he hit 20 home runs, electing to transfer again to Texas A&M following an impressive sophomore year.
Savoie is a slugger who will absolutely pummel a baseball left over the heart of the plate. It's feel for barrel that stands out, with bat-to-ball skills and pitch recognition that have improved over the course of Savoie's collegiate career. Savoie is an aggressive hitter who will at times expand the zone, though his chase rates have gotten better over time. He'll still likely need to takes step forward in that regard if he hopes to become the typical slugging/on-base archetype. Both his walk rate and expected walk rate sat under 10% in 2026. Savoie will flash average bat-to-ball skills, but will likely need to sure up some holes in his swing as the draft approaches. For now it's average hit tool projection.
Savoie has split time between behind the plate and in a corner outfield spot. He's an average defender with slightly above-average framing metrics and a strong arm. He's a below average runner who won't provide much value with his legs.
