Marohn is a high floor college arm with some of the traits and characteristics to be a back end of the rotation arm at the next level. It's a deceptive delivery, with some cross-body action that makes him an uncomfortable at bat.
Marohn lives in the low-90s with his fastball that isn't an overpowering pitch, but features some ride and he knows how to command it. Marohn's best offering is a changeup that he gets plenty of whiffs on and can also throw for strikes. He also mixes in a curvevall, as well as a slider and a cutter.
