A draft-eligible sophomore, Lujo has been a considerable riser over the course of the past year. Originally at Dayton as a freshman, Lujo bet on himself and headed to Athens, a choice that has paid off fruitfully for him so far.
Lujo runs elite contact rates and has maintained a strikeout rate under 10% throughout his first two collegiate seasons. The guy can flat out hit, top to bottom. He can be an aggressive hitter at times, but that's caused him little problems up to this point in time. Lujo likely won't be a masher at the next level, but he makes the most out of his otherwise fringy raw power with solid puller-air rates.
Lujo played third base throughout his freshman year at Dayton, but he's seen a shift over to center field looks more like his landing spot long-term. He's a plus runner, but features below average arm strength, which may force him off to left field if challenged by a better defender.
