Roberson has some of the better defensive tools out of any outfielder in the 2026 class. A wiry athlete, Roberson is plus runner who's posted 60 times approaching 6.3 seconds with electric foot speed. Pair that with plus arm strength, and you've got a profile some consider fit for a future in center field.
The tools at the plate are really starting to come on as well. Roberson's whiff rates throughout the 2025 summer circuit where borderline elite. He rarely chased, rarely struck out, and just didn't seem to swing and miss. While the slashline suggests it was just an average summer, the under the hood bat to ball metrics simply can't be ignored. Some still question the uphill swing plane and how that could translate to higher level velocity. Roberson isn't the biggest power threat, but he's starting to understand how to loft the ball with his swing, all while growing into more bat speed and raw power. For now the power is mostly gap to gap with the occasional pull side shot, but with some filling out Roberson could grow into average power. As if the tools and budding offensive profile wasn't enough, Roberson will be just 18.4 on draft day, on the younger side of the class.
