Adams has been a considerable riser this spring in the state of Alabama. The bat is what's getting people excited. It's an intruiging blend of hit/power. A sweet left-handed stroke allows Adams to make plenty of contact, especially against fastballs. He has a clear understanding of how to loft the baseball, especially to his pullside, with raw power that allows him to slug plenty.
Adams will likely play first base at the next level, though some think he's athletic enough to potentially handle a corner outfield spot. Adams also pitches and has been up into the low 90s off the bump, though if he's drafted it will amost certaintly be because of the stick.
